NHYFSC 3rd Annual Academic Achievement
Award Reception Held
The NHYFSC held their 3rd Annual Academic Achievement Award Reception
on Sunday March 30th.
The conference recognized 654 children at 3 levels of accomplishment; Gold, Silver and Bronze.
200 - Gold Level with a total GPA of 96% to 100%
242 - Silver Level with a total GPA of 93% to 95%
212 - Bronze Level with a total GPA of 90% to 92%
The participants also need to demonstrate an involvement with community service, volunteerism or clubs and organizations. Each recipient
received a certificate that acknowledges the participants success.

The conference also awarded 43 Scholarships totalling $41,000. The funds were received from PSNH, Southern New Hampshire University,
NHYFSC Golf Tournament, American Youth Football/American Youth Cheer and the 28 member associations of the NHYFSC.

Football Coaches Clinics for the 08 Season
The following clinics are being offered
to football coaches.
April 20th - University of New Hampshire will be holding their 12th annual Spring Football Clinic. Featured presenters will be from
Plymouth State University, UNH Coaches Staff and St. Anselm College. Steve Hall the NHFOA State Rules
Interpreter will also be covering
2008 Rules Review.

May 3rd - USA Football Coaching School presented by the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium. This clinic is designed exclusively for
Youth Football Coaches. Learn effective ways to develop and organize your team, teach proper fundamentals, implement drills and communicate
with players, parents and other coaches. Seats are limited so please register early!!

Black Mountain Bobcats join the NHYFSC
At the February president’s meeting of the NHYFSC, Jason Maloney,
president of Black Mountain Bobcats Football, petitioned for membership into the New Hampshire Youth Football & Spirit Conference.
The presidents voted unanimously to accept Black Mountain as a member association.
Black Mountain will be joining the conference with all levels of football teams. The Bobcats will serve the children of Lisbon, Bath
and Warren. They sought membership into the conference as they are experiencing significant growth and interest of children wanting to play
football in their area.
Black Mountain Bobcats will begin in the NHYFSC for the 2008 season.
